About the Bolingbrook Historic Preservation Commission
The Commission was established by the Village Board in 1993 to preserve Bolingbrook's rich heritage.
The Bolingbrook Historic Preservation Commission's mission is to collect and maintain a comprehensive data base on Bolingbrook's history; its people, places, structures and events, and to make this information available to all residents.
In addition to collecting information and artifacts, the Commission:
The Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 7:15pm in the Town Center Board Room, 375 W Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook, IL 60440.

- restores headstones and/or grave markers/plaques at historic Boardman Cemetery.
- promotes our museum to youth groups starting with scouts.
- maintains three display cases at Village Hall with historical and seasonal displays.
- produces "Historically Speaking" programs shown on local community television. As new programs are shown, we alert viewers via our Facebook page.
